If you want a long walk that you can enjoy over a few days with a different stop off each night then take the Avon Valley path. This route of around 34 miles runs from Salisbury to Christchurch and you will walk through beautiful meadows and villages on your way.

If it is historical places you want to see you can take your pick in Wiltshire! The Westbury White Horse is a famous sight as well as the nearby Bratton Camp, an Iron Age fort which you can see today.

If you enjoy a walk along the waters edge then the Kennet and Avon canal is perfect. Teeming with wildlife as wall as lots of local pubs to enjoy a drink and something to eat along the way, it is a beautiful walk on a summers day.
