Naas Racecourse – There is nothing as thrilling as a day at the races. Get your bets on or simply go to admire the horses and the skills of the jockeys. In the summer, events like the barbeque and racing evening are always popular, as well as the live music often on there.

Coolcarrigan House – A visit to this beautiful place is a must when you are in the area. The gardens are famed for their rare tree collection, and the summer months are the best time to visit them in all their glory. The house, built by Robert Mackay Winston is beautiful, as is the church that stands in the grounds with its beautiful stained-glass windows and walls of Gaelic script.
