Get Your Travel Plans Organised in Time for the Festive Season

With Christmas just a matter of weeks away, it’s the time of the year when things start to heat up on the social calendar. Organise your travel plans early to avoid any last-minute hitches, whether you need a Bristol taxi company to get you to the airport, a London bus for a work’s night out or a sleigh ride for a children’s party.

Shopping Trips

Whether you’re doing last-minute shopping in the city, or jetting away to Europe to stock up on goodies at a continental Christmas market, shopping can be a fun but exhausting experience. Take the weight off your feet when laden with heavy bags, and remember to pre-book your chosen mode of transport to avoid having to wait around after a fruitful shopping expedition.

Family Visits

Christmas is the time of year to visit family and friends, but in order to make the most of your precious time together, don’t let public transport delays eat into your day. You might decide to treat yourself to a taxi, or a minibus, if there are a few of you travelling, so you can arrive on time without feeling flustered.

Office Party

As the party season gets into full swing, make sure your office do is organised down to the last detail before the date draws near. If your party venue is out in the sticks, ensure that staff are able to get there and back safely. The Christmas party is the one time of year when everyone can let their hair down and enjoy a drink or two, so leave the car keys at home, and arrange for a private hire from West Country Mini Buses or other reputable firms nationwide to ferry staff there and back.

Parking Woes

With more of us out and about during the festive season, it’s often harder to find a parking space, whether you are Christmas shopping, visiting Santa’s grotto with youngsters or going for a meal. Although leaving the car at home might be the best option to avoid the troubles of finding a parking place, standing at a bus stop in the wintery cold may not be such an appealing proposition. Again, it may be worth ordering a taxi – if there’s a group of you, it could work out cheaper than having to pay for expensive parking fees.
