Have ups and downs is very common and normal in a venture, like spending some other well. If this is your situation and do not know what to do to improve your business, here are three alternatives according to the stage where you are.

  1. Apply a proven model

If you are starting or take relatively little time, and your problem is that you have enough clients or income and would like to at least make a living, something that works well is to learn from someone who already has achieved. Someone who has a fair deal as you wants and does well. A mentor or mentor that you can teach step by step how to improve your business, so you also have those results.

It is the fastest way out of the rut and stop wasting time and motivation doing random things. Of course, keep in mind three basic things to make this work and feel satisfied:

Do not try copying the model of another person, behind what you see there is a lot of strategy and simply copy will not help to improve the business.

You have to act, not good if you make excuses and do not do what you’re told. If you hired someone is to make the case, otherwise, do not bother. This sounds silly, but not everyone is able to just do what needs to be done.

It is essential that you choose the mentor is someone you trust and you like the business model you have and it teaches. It makes no sense to learn something then not want to implement because in reality you want something else.

  1. Improve your business with what you already have

It is clear that marketing is fundamental in any stage of your business, but there are times when you focus on these strategies (and, if necessary, hire a marketing consultant) can give particularly good results, and times when will help you more choice.

However, if you have a venture established and are happy with your model but you’ve reached a plateau and do not know what to do to improve your business, get more out and have more income without wearing yourself out, then improve things as strategies for launching programs, social network advertising, texts selling, sales, conversion of your website, increase the list and the percentage of opening, to name a few examples, it could be you need to make that leap without touching essentially the foundation. And here is where a marketing consultant comes in.

  1. Create a custom model to improve your business

There are times when things are going well but do not know how to scale your business, how to grow and you see that leap would greatly complicate things and have an excessive workload, or switch to a business model that does not satisfies you both. What is the alternative then?

In this case you can think short term and improve your marketing to see good results, but it is also essential to think longer term so that your business model does not end up burning you. So it would be time to restructure your business, foundations and re-evaluate your goals and needs, eliminate what does not work or does not provide you therefore enhance what you love and what you stand out especially, and create a new model as, simpler and not based on someone else’s system, however well it works.

Now, think about what you already have to improve your business and decide:

  1. I’m fine for now
    2. I just started and I need a step by step system tested.
    3. I love my model, but want to improve the results
in April. It’s time to create something more personal that allows me to grow but also meet other requirements (fewer complications, more free time,)

Now that you know what to do to improve your business, analyzes each point with strategy and effort. What alternatives do you need now?
